The emphasis of our website is to provide an extension of our studio in the UK based at 
www.thoresby.com in order enable a world-wide audience to experience our glass designs and see pieces being created. If you are close by why not pop in and see us in action first hand.
Ingrid's new area of influence is the Caribbean and West indies, concentrating on the Islands of Barbados and St Lucia and more recently Trinidad and Tobago. Ingrid is currently creating new works of art with a Caribbean flavour - adding new rich bold colours influenced by Bajan life from the happy, welcoming islanders to the rich, beautiful island itself. The Caribbean is going to be an on-going area of influence moving forwards. Offering new opportunities for Ingrid in Trinidad and Tobago showcasing Ingrid's glass designs in this lucious green island paradise. although India still remains her most influential spiritual home. This evolving journey continues to inspire her work, teachings; blending cultural richness, natural beauty, and a deep sense of place.

We are open once again after the Governments National Lockdown Restrictions were lifted on the 12th April 2021. We are back into full production, including commissions, glass classes and demonstrations. Our opening times vary from week to week anyway, due to the nature of our commissioned work. We can often find ourselves working off-site, on installations of the larger-scale glass sculptures and commissions that we produce.
We do generally operate between the hours of 11am-9pm (after 5pm always by appointment, as we will arrange to leave the main gates at Thoresby Park open for you and with the car park lights on awaiting your arrival). We do emphasize though, that if you do wish to specifically visit us at anytime, to discuss a special commision or to watch a glassblowing demonstration that you contact us prior to your arrival, in order that you are not disappointed if we are working off-site or are tied up on other commissioned work/classes, especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
We warmly welcome all visitors to our studio and encourage people to stay and watch whenever we are glassblowing. Glass makers are real showmen (or women!) and love to have an audience to perform to. We have some of the most diverse glass pieces that we create here on display in our studio. Glass is constantly being created in front of ones eyes, whilst the furnaces roar in the background. It is an exciting medium to watch! (and even more exciting if you are lucky enough to have a go! Glass Courses)
